This notice covers the Mafate7 English Android app. The website has its own privacy policy.
What stays on your phone
Lessons, your progress, coins, badges and settings are stored on your phone. The app works without an account and without the internet.
What is stored in an account
When sign-in is available, the app creates an anonymous account so your progress can be restored on another phone. Our learning service stores an opaque account id, the lessons you finished with their scores and XP, and the rewards you earned. If you link a Google account, your email address is held by Google’s Firebase Authentication to sign you in; our learning service does not store your Google name or email.
The league
The weekly league is optional. If you join, other learners in your group see the name you choose, your avatar and your XP for that week. You can leave at any time, which hides your name.
Invites and how you found the app
If you install the app from a link, Google Play tells the app which campaign the link belonged to (for example “tiktok”), and that label is sent with the anonymous usage counts. If a friend invited you, the link also carries their invite code. When you claim a code, our learning service records which account invited which, so it can give you both the coins once you finish your first lesson. Your friend is never shown your name or email, only that the coins arrived.
Microphone
The microphone is used only when you tap it in a speaking exercise. Your phone’s speech recognition turns what you say into text; the app receives only that text, keeps it on the phone, and does not record or store audio. Depending on your phone, its speech service may process the audio on Google’s servers. You can switch speaking exercises off in Settings.
Notifications
Notifications are off until you switch them on. When they are on, the app registers a notification token from Google’s Firebase Cloud Messaging with our learning service, together with your app language, so it can send one gentle evening reminder when you have a streak and have not practised that day, and occasional course news. Switching notifications off removes the token.
Answers
When you are signed in, exercise answers are sent to our service to be checked and counted. Writing answers are compared with a model answer and are not kept.
Usage counts
The app sends anonymous counts such as “lesson completed”. They contain no answers, names or account ids.
Lesson feedback
After a few early lessons the app asks “How was this lesson?”. If you answer, it sends your thumbs up or down, any comment you write, the lesson and the app version to our learning service. The note is not linked to your account or phone. We read it to improve the lessons and do not share it.
Ads
From version 1.0.0 (6), the app shows ads from Google AdMob in two places only: one ad on the result screen after a lesson, never during a lesson, and an optional short video in the Shop that you can choose to watch for 20 coins, up to three times a day. Ads are requested as non-personalised. AdMob may collect the device advertising id and technical data such as the IP address to show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, under Google’s policies. Learners in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent first, and anyone can review their choice in Settings → Privacy dashboard → Ad consent options. Coins have no money value and cannot be bought.
Deleting your data

ما يبقى على هاتفك: الدروس وتقدمك وعملاتك وشاراتك وإعداداتك. يعمل التطبيق بلا حساب وبلا إنترنت.
ما يُحفظ في الحساب: حين يتاح تسجيل الدخول ينشئ التطبيق حسابًا مجهولًا ليُستعاد تقدمك على هاتف آخر. تحفظ خدمة التعلم معرّفًا مبهمًا للحساب، والدروس التي أكملتها بدرجاتها ونقاطها، والمكافآت التي كسبتها. إذا ربطت حساب Google فإن بريدك يُحفظ لدى خدمة Firebase Authentication من Google لتسجيل دخولك، ولا تحفظ خدمتنا اسمك في Google ولا بريدك.
الدوري: اختياري. إذا انضممت يرى المتعلّمون في مجموعتك الاسم الذي تختاره وصورتك الرمزية ونقاط أسبوعك. يمكنك المغادرة في أي وقت فيختفي اسمك.
الدعوات ومن أين عرفت التطبيق: إذا ثبّتّ التطبيق من رابط يخبر Google Play التطبيقَ بالحملة التي يتبعها الرابط (مثل «tiktok»)، ويُرسل هذا الوصف مع إحصاءات الاستخدام المجهولة. وإذا دعاك صديق فالرابط يحمل كود دعوته أيضًا. حين تستخدم كودًا تسجّل خدمة التعلم أي حساب دعا أي حساب، لتمنحكما العملات بعد أن تكمل درسك الأول. لا يرى صديقك اسمك ولا بريدك، بل يعرف فقط أن العملات وصلت.
الميكروفون: يُستخدم فقط حين تضغط زره في تمرين التحدث. تحوّل خدمة التعرّف على الصوت في هاتفك كلامك إلى نص، ولا يستقبل التطبيق إلا ذلك النص ويبقيه على الهاتف، ولا يسجّل الصوت ولا يحفظه. قد تعالج خدمة الصوت في هاتفك التسجيل على خوادم Google بحسب نوع الهاتف. يمكنك إيقاف تمارين التحدث من الإعدادات.
الإشعارات: متوقفة حتى تفعّلها. حين تفعّلها يسجّل التطبيق رمز إشعارات من خدمة Firebase Cloud Messaging لدى Google في خدمة التعلم مع لغة التطبيق، لإرسال تذكير لطيف واحد مساءً إن كانت لديك سلسلة ولم تتعلّم ذلك اليوم، وأخبار قليلة عن الدورة. إيقاف الإشعارات يحذف الرمز.
الإجابات: حين تكون مسجّلًا تُرسل إجابات التمارين إلى خدمتنا للتحقق منها وعدّها. تُقارن إجابات الكتابة بإجابة نموذجية ولا تُحفظ.
إحصاءات الاستخدام: يرسل التطبيق أعدادًا مجهولة مثل «اكتمل درس» بلا إجابات ولا أسماء ولا معرّفات.
رأيك في الدرس: بعد بعض الدروس الأولى يسألك التطبيق «كيف كان الدرس؟». إذا أجبت يُرسل تقييمك (أعجبني أو يحتاج تحسين) وأي تعليق تكتبه والدرس ونسخة التطبيق إلى خدمة التعلم. لا يرتبط ذلك بحسابك ولا بهاتفك. نقرؤه لنحسّن الدروس ولا نشاركه مع أحد.
الإعلانات: بدءًا من الإصدار 1.0.0 (6) يعرض التطبيق إعلانات من Google AdMob في مكانين فقط: إعلان واحد في شاشة النتيجة بعد الدرس، وليس أثناء الدرس أبدًا، وفيديو قصير اختياري في المتجر تشاهده إن أردت مقابل 20 عملة، حتى ثلاث مرات يوميًا. نطلب إعلانات غير مخصّصة. قد يجمع AdMob معرّف الإعلانات للجهاز وبيانات تقنية مثل عنوان IP لعرض الإعلانات وقياسها ومنع الاحتيال، وفق سياسات Google. يُطلب من المتعلمين في المنطقة الاقتصادية الأوروبية والمملكة المتحدة وسويسرا الموافقة أولًا، ويمكن لأي شخص مراجعة اختياره من الإعدادات ← لوحة الخصوصية ← خيارات موافقة الإعلانات. العملات بلا قيمة مالية ولا تُشترى.
